L’album des œuvres gagnantes du prix international de Tabriz pour l’innovation et la créativité dans l’artisanat

This is the album of the award-winning entries at the Tabriz International Award for Innovation and Creativity in Crafts conducted during the Tabriz International Festival of Arts, Heritage and Creativity which took place in Tabriz, Iran, on 8-12 May 2015. The festival was organized by IRCICA and Tabriz University for Islamic Arts in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organizations of Iran. It includes the winning entries in the fields of: miniature painting; sewing and embroidery; traditional costumes; carpets and rugs; ornamentation; Qur’an binding and illumination; marbled paper; mushrabiya; stucco colored glass; pottery and ceramics; silver and metal crafts; engraving.
The festival gathered designers and craftspeople in pavilions forming a craft village where they displayed their works, tools and techniques. Awards amounting to $60.000 were distributed in ten Craft Topics. The album constitutes a documentary catalogue of all the winning entries of artisans from various geographical regions of the world.  It shows images of the latest achieved innovation and creativity by leading artisans. The Album is published in English (457 pages) and Arabic (425 pages).
