Catalogue of Winners’ Plates in the Fifth International Calligraphy Competition in the name of Sayyid Ibrahim (1897-1994)

The fifth round of the IRCICA International Calligraphy Competition was conducted during 2000-2001 and the catalogue of its award-winning works was published in 2002. Following the established tradition of the series of competitions, this round was dedicated to the Egyptian calligrapher Sayyid Ibrahim in recognition of his contributions to this art. 1885 works were submitted to the competition by 909 participants from 37 countries; 127 participants from 34 countries were awarded prizes and mentions. The catalogue contains the images of the first three prize-winning works in various categories of styles, 79 works in total.
