This book consists of a historical study on the curtains of Haramein Sharifein in its first part and a catalogue of the curtains kept in the Topkapi Palace Museum, Istanbul in its second part. The five sections of the catalogue part give information on the curtains having covered the door of the Holy Ka’ba, the curtains of its outer surface, the belts of these curtains, the covers of the tomb of the Prophet in the Rawda al-Mutahhara, and the latter’s belts. There are 67 entries in the catalogue part. This collection of curtains is preserved in the rare artifacts section of Topkapi Palace Museum. The introductory part and the catalogue were prepared by Dr. Hülya Tezcan, expert researcher in the Museum.
