Friend and Brother. 70th Anniversary of Relations between Turkey and Pakistan

Diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Türkiye, two OIC member states, started in 1947 with the foundation of Pakistan. Friendship and solidarity between their peoples has had much deeper sense than time length would indicate. On the occasion of the 70th year of relations between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Turkey commemorated in 2017, IRCICA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey cooperated to prepare this album. It contains historical documents, photographs and commemorative stamps dating from the early 1900s until the 2010s. The materials were compiled from the state archives and the archives of historical photographs of IRCICA. Altogether they give an overview of the exemplary friendship between the two countries. The album begins with the Preface of the President of Turkey H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The texts, and the annotations of the illustrations are in English, Urdu and Turkish.
