Islamic Civilization in Caucasia

IRCICA’s first international seminar on Islamic Civilisation in Caucasia was organized jointly with the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, and held under the patronage and in the presence of the President of Azerbaijan Hayder Aliyev, in Baku, on 9-11 December 1998. This book contains twenty-eight research papers presented by specialists of the region’s history. The first part of the book has the papers presented in Azerbaijan Turkish and the second part, those in Turkish or English.
