Le patrimoine architectural aujourd’hui, Istanbul-Süleymaniye & Mostar 2004, Rapport du programme

The first of IRCICA’s “Mostar 2004” ten-year series of annual architectural workshops organized from 1994 to 2004 was held in Istanbul (Türkiye) and Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina). This book is a collection of the lectures which were given by conservation experts from different countries, preceded by introductory articles on Istanbul, its architectural history, planning activities and heritage preservation in Suleymaniye, as well as on the cities of Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Stolač, Počitelj and Foča. Each section ends with extensive summary reports on the results of the technical work that was accomplished by the trainees coming from different countries. Their architectural drawings and plans are added to the appendix.
